For some, school dances will become a wonderful memory they will relive Cocktailjurken 2012 over and over again through their long and happy lives. For others, it may be the only time they ever get to experience the thrill of attending an elegant affair. Whether attending dances with the boy or girl of their dreams or the boy or girl who simply asked, most will cherish every detail of their special night experience. What almost as important as having a date? Having the perfect attire!

First, we are asking for donations of prom dresses, formals, Wedding, bridesmaid dresses and party gowns. In addition, we are asking for our young men a suit, shirts, ties and/or a free tuxedo rental. Donated dresses/suits or any items should be clean and on hangers. We also asking for accessories to help our local girls/guys complete their special appropriate wraps, jewelry and shoes are welcome. For teen-agers who don have the hundreds of dollars it can cost to celebrate a prom in style.

If you have a dress that you no longer need, don't let it hang in the back of your closet and gather dust for another day. Instead, give it to a charitable organization that can get it into the hands of someone who can't afford to purchase a brand new dress to wear to her special occasion or a new or rented suit for our gents. Your generosity just might make it possible for a high school student to attend his/her special occasion who would otherwise have had to miss the event because of budgetary limitations.

All of the organizers will collect donations and new or gently worn prom dresses and accessories to distribute to students throughout Southeast Missouri, and the United States and not to just one school. We are working on helping the Boys by arranging a suit or free tuxedo rentals with your assistance.

Our effort will help hundreds of teens who are victims of Domestic Violence, or live in shelters, group homes or come from very low-income households; we request your assistance in making their dance memorable!
